Each resident is employed by a local non-profit or Kingdom-minded business that is engaging the community in transformative ways. This is a paid position that provides valuable experience and safe space to learn and experiment.
Telos Residents receive a MA in Strategic Ministry from Johnson University. This is an accelerated 30-credit hour degree that is completed through in-person instruction, online coursework, and fieldwork credits.
Our residents live cost-free in host homes in the urban core of Knoxville. Our host families believe in and live out the mission of Telos and provide supportive environments for residents to learn and grow.
Each resident will be mentored by a local leader and practitioner. Telos mentors provide a safe and consistent presence for the residents to process life and ministry.
Telos Residents go on three retreats throughout the course of the program. These retreats are focused on building relationships, spiritual formation, and rest.
